Description

Photo album titled: "Settles: Empire, Modern, Piazza, Bank 49A." Title, subtitle, and volume number are hand printed in black on spine. Album has a beige fabric covering and 84 dark gray pages. Fourteen of the pages are blank. Album contains 70 mounted black-and-white photographs. Photographs are of a variety of settles and settees manufactured by A. H. Davenport Co., Irving and Casson, and their successor, Irving and Casson - A. H. Davenport Co. The order number and year are often shown on a display in the photographs; one model number is provided. Customer names are handwritten on some album pages. Named customers are: Anaconda Copper Co.; Bethlehem Shipbuilding Corp. (Quincy, MA); Boston Consolidated Gas Co.
