Description

FAN (A): Large black lacquered wooden sticks, painted with grapes, fruit and gilt scroll and lattice; paper leaf painted and lithographed with dance/ballet scene of angels dancing and one placing wreath on head of harpist, with ancient ruins in background, and gold border; reverse has red paper medallion painted with man and woman walking; enclosed by gilt and embossed scrolls and chinoiserie and birds; blue silk tassel. BOX (B): Cardboard covered with pink moire' with gold edge.
