Description

Photo album. Paper label with title is missing from spine; volume number "40" is handprinted on a paper label that is affixed to spine. Album has a heavy textured dark brown covering and is held together with two metal brads. Album has 122 olive green pages; twenty-two of the pages are blank. Album contains 101 mounted black-and-white photographs. Photographs are of a variety of coordinating bedroom furniture pieces manufactured by A. H. Davenport Co., Irving and Casson, and their successor, Irving and Casson - A. H. Davenport Co. Types of furniture shown include: beds, cabinets, bureaus, chests, chests of drawers, mirrors, night stands, benches, stools, side chairs, desks, dressing tables, writing desks, and other tables. The order number and year are often shown on a display in the photographs; model numbers are also provided in some cases. No customer names are noted. Digital images of a selection of photographs from the album are attached to this record.
