Description

Photo album titled: "Arm Chairs." Title was hand printed on a round paper label affixed to spine; however, spine covering is missing. Labell has been placed inside front cover. Label with volume number is missing. Album has a heavy textured dark brown covering and is held together with two metal brads. Album has 94 olive green pages; seventeen of the pages are blank. Album contains one loose and 77 mounted black-and-white photographs. Photographs depict a variety of arm chairs, including Windsor and swivel chairs, manufactured by A. H. Davenport Co., Irving and Casson and their successor, Irving and Casson - A. H. Davenport Co. The order number and year are often shown on a display in the photographs; model numbers are also present in some cases. No customer names are given. Digital images of a selection of photographs from the album are attached to this record.
