Description

Photo album titled: "Desks 58." Title is hand printed on a round paper label affixed to spine; volume number is also printed on a paper label affixed to spine. Album has a heavy textured dark brown covering and is held together with two metal brads. Album has 86 olive green pages; six of the pages are blank. Album contains 80 mounted black-and-white photographs. Photographs are of a variety of desks manufactured by A. H. Davenport Co., Irving and Casson, and their successor, Irving and Casson - A. H. Davenport Co. The order number and year are often shown in the photographs; model numbers are also provided in some cases. One customer name (N.Y. Life Insurance Co.) is handwritten on one album page. Digital images of a selection of photographs from the album are attached to this record.
