Description

Photo album titled: "Dining Room." Title is hand printed on a round paper label affixed to spine. Album has a heavy textured dark brown covering and is held together with two metal brads. Album has 128 olive green pages; 29 of the pages are blank. Album contains 99 mounted black-and-white photographs. Photographs are of a variety of dining room furniture manufactured by A. H. Davenport Co., Irving and Casson, and their successor, Irving and Casson - A. H. Davenport Co. The order number and year are often shown on a display in the photographs; model numbers have also been provided in some cases. No customer names are noted in the album; however, it is possible to determine some customers by cross referencing to other photograph albums and to the journals in the collection. Known customers include F. W. Woolworth (Glen Cove, NY). Digital images of a selection of photographs from the album are attached to this record
