Series III, Papers of Charles Coffin (1741-1821), 1771-1825 (#C.1.13-C.1.15), contains a 1776 letter from Coffin's sister, Susan (Coffin) Boyd (1735-1788), and brother-in-law, James Boyd (dates unknown), regarding the sale of cattle; a 1790 letter from Coffin's cousin, E. Royal; an 1825 account sheet regarding property taxes; a 1771 land deed for property purchased in Newburyport in the province of Massachusetts Bay; and a 1772 deed regarding the purchase of livestock. The series is arranged alphabetically by record type.
