Papers of Lucy Coffin (1811-1893)

Description

Series X, Papers of Lucy Coffin (1811-1893), 1832-1870, undated (#C.1.62-C.1.66), contains a miniature autograph album with the signatures of family members; several calling/vising cards; deeds; a hand-written document describing the boundaries of the Coffin family property; and an 1832 catalog for the Latin and English High School in Newburyport, Massachusetts. The deeds include a land deed to the Coffin family house in Newbury, Massachusetts, and a deed to the Coffin family pew at First Parish in Newbury, Massachusetts, both of which Lucy acquired from her sisters. See #C.2.41 for Lucy's manuscript on Coffin family genealogy. The series is arranged alphabetically by record type, and thereunder chronologically.
