Description

Series XI, Papers of Lucy (Kimball) Coffin (1776-1853), 1809-1853, undated (#C.1.67-C.2.2), contains correspondence received by Lucy from her sister, Mary Kimball (dates unknown); her son, Edmund Coffin (1810-1837); her niece, Nancy Plummer (dates unknown); and Joseph Lord. Also included in the series are receipts (including taxes paid); an 1809 account sheet regarding hardware purchases; deeds relating to property purchased in Newbury, Massachusetts; a deed to a church pew at First Parish in Newbury, Massachusetts; a settlement document involving the estate of Lucy's husband, Edmund Coffin (1764-1825); and Lucy's 1853 will. The series is arranged alphabetically by record type, and thereunder chronologically.
