Series XII, Papers of Nathaniel Coffin (1669-1748), 1701-1736 (#C.2.3-C.2.7, OB.1.9-OB.1.10), contains Coffin's legal agreements and land deeds; Proprietors' committee minutes, notes, and related documents regarding the establishment of boundaries for the parish of Newbury in the province of Massachusetts Bay; a receipt for the purchase of food; and the will of Henry Short as witnessed by Coffin. See #2.1 and C.2.52 for related material in the bound account books. The series is arranged alphabetically by record type, and thereunder chronologically.
