Description

Design drawing rendered in pencil on trace depicting two slat-back side chairs (model numbers 430 and 499). Model 430 has serpentine crest rail; two straight horozontal slats; shaped seat; tapered square front legs; square splayed back legs; two stretchers on each side; and two front stretchers. Model 499 has straight crest rail with flat arm rest above; two straight horizontal slats; shaped seat; tapered square front legs; square splayed back legs; and two stretchers on each side. Two medial stretchers connect the top two side stretchers; one medial stretcher connects the lower two side stretchers. Model 499 has a rectangular kneeler attached to the back legs below the stretchers. Drawing has numerous handwritten notes on different options available for the chairs including rush or wood seats and optional kneelers. Pricing is also noted for many of the options. Drawing was found loose in album of bas-relief devotional carvings (CC010.002..109).
