Description

A single dark blue silk satin slipper bound with yellow tape constructed to slip on the foot . The toe is a rounded square, decorated with applied braids of straw in parallel rows at the tip, with large spirals of foliage and flowers made from straw appliqued across the 4" vamp; sole has narrow waist; spring heel; lined with tan leather. Maker's name inscribed in ink across interior sole [see Inscriptions].
