Brass box lock with iron works; surface- mounted. Back cover plate is iron, as is key. Key-operated deadbolt from one side only. Lever-operated deadbolt (brass lever) from opposite side. Also knob-operated spring-bevel bolt, operated from both sides. Strike is brass with blind fastening, built up over iron shell. Two blunt-end countersunk wood screws included.
