White; low turnover collar with two buttonholes; pleated front panel with placket and three small buttonholes (two panel buttons); shoulder yoke; gusseted and gathered sleeves with rounded cuffs, each with one small pearl button; fullness below pleated panel. Worn by Dr. John McClellan of Woodstock, Connecticut at Yale College, 1833.
