Oval wooden bandbox (A) and lid (B) covered in wallpaper. Wallpaper has stripes of stylized flowers and leaves separated by stripes of oval lozenges. Block printed in blue, white and pink on gray ground.
Bottom of box is covered with newspaper dated 1826. Bottom rim of box is repaired with strip of newspaper.
Lid has separated from its rim and is patched with fragments of a later blue and green paper.
