Description

Oval wooden bandbox (A) and lid (B) covered with wallpaper. Wallpaper has pattern with floral boquets against a background of delicate scrolling ferns. Block printed in pink, red, white, green and varnished green on yellow ground. Box and lid are lined with June 1, 1838 issue of "The Manual" newspaper from Boston, MA. Wormwood damage.
