Description

Oval wooden bandbox (A) with lid (B). Box and lid are covered with with wallpaper with repeating circular floral medallions consisting of tulips and other flowers surrounded by foliage. Medallions are separated by stylized scrolling motifs. Block printed in two pinks, green, varnish green and white on a yellow ground. Box and lid are lined with newspaper dated April 26, 1854
