Description

This series contains correspondence, research notes, photographs, and articles that make up Nina Fletcher Little's research files on floor coverings. The series also includes articles by Little and publications by other authors. Little's research in this area resulted in the publication of not only articles, but also the booklet Floor Coverings in New England Before 1850, published by Old Sturbridge Village in 1967 and 1972. Researchers interested in the publication of the Floor Coverings booklet should consult the Old Sturbridge Village series.

These papers were found in a single carton, in folders created by Selina Fletcher Little; their exact order has been preserved.
