The contents of this subseries were found in a letterbox that Nina Fletcher Little labeled "Marines." The material in this letterbox was not sorted into dividers; the papers were simply piled in the box. The collection processor created six folders for the papers, while maintaining their original order. Selina Fletcher Little left instructions that another cluster of documents be added to this letterbox; those papers are found in Folder 7. The empty letterbox is located at the end of the collection.
