This series pertains to the research and publication of Country Arts in Early American Homes, published in 1975. The book explores daily life and objects in eighteenth- to nineteenth-century New England homes. Items include numerous photographs, book proofs, correspondence, and papers related to contracts and royalties. There are also several files related to the 1999 edition of the book, published by the Society for the Preservation of New England Antiquities (later Historic New England). These were not original to Nina F. Little's arrangement, but rather were added to the collection by Historic New England staff.
