In addition to exhibition catalogues, this subseries includes many articles from historical and decorative arts periodicals. They were originally contained in three document boxes. Nina Fletcher Little labeled the boxes with date spans, though the publication dates of the catalogues and articles within each box did not entirely match the box labels. The division of the three boxes has been preserved here. Correspondence or other papers accompanied several of the catalogues in this subseries. In a few instances, the publications in this subseries do not seem to pertain to individual artists.
In addition to the publications contained in Nina Fletcher Little's three document boxes, Selina Fletcher Little indicated that two additional exhibition catalogues should be incorporated into this subseries. These two publications are arranged at the end of this subseries.
