In 1954, Nina Fletcher Little was hired as a consultant for a new folk installation at Colonial Williamsburg sponsored by Abby Aldrich Rockefeller. Little catalogued and helped design gallery arrangements for the collection. The papers in this series document Little's work with the Colonial Williamsburg staff, the Rockefeller Family, and other scholars involved in this project. Other files relate to Little's creation of the AARFAC catalog (1957); traveling exhibitions from the AARFAC; the Little collection exhibition Land and Seascape as Observed by the Folk Artist; and many photographs of objects from the AARFAC.
