Description

Album of design drawings produced by A. H. Davenport Co. titled: "Chairs. Rockers." The title is printed on the spine in gold on a red leather label. The company name is printed in black on the front cover; the volume number "6" is also printed in black on the spine. Album has a beige fabric covering and 204 pages, many of which are now loose. There are 111 pages which have 568 drawings in pencil or ink on trace affixed with glue. The remaining 92 pages are blank. Drawings depict a variety of chairs manufactured by the firm including dining chairs, easy chairs, desk chairs, hall chairs and rocking chairs.
