Description

Design drawing titled "Oak Bulletin Board in Trophy Room Yale Gymnasium" rendered in pencil on trace. Front view is shown. Bulletin board has wooden frame with arched pediment; frieze; and rectangular body atop two block feet. Carved ornamentation includes: quatrefoils and anthemions on arch; central medallion of garlands surrounding a lamp on arch; astragal and egg-and-dart moldings on frieze; and central panel on body with astragal molding. Title, dimensions, scale and "11532" are handwritten. Also handwritten are: "N.Y. 6738" and "Factory Order 25110."
