"Wood Rack of Oak in Billiard Room"

Description

Design drawing titled "Wood Rack of Oak in Billiard Room" rendered in pencil on trace. Front and side views are shown. Rack has tall arched backboard; side panels with curved tops which extend two-thirds of backboard height; and a low rectangular base which extends outward. Base has a protruding shelf at top front which is supported by a scroll bracket. Top portion of backboard is angled backward. Base has a open top to allow for storage of pool cues. Rack has carved ornamentation including: scroll at top of arch; carved acanthus leaves along top and front edges of side panels; quatrefoils and foliage on side panels; and diamonds on front of base. Title, dimensions and "Geo. Eastman" are handwritten on drawing.
