Federal or Neoclassical-style sofa has curved back form; upholstery with nail trim; open arms terminating in volutes; arm supports with reeded pear-shaped bases atop round shafts; four tapered rounded reeded legs terminating in casters; and splayed square rear legs. Title, "for Mr. Peabody" and design notes are handwritten on drawing.
