Description

Untitled design drawing rendered in pencil and ink on trace. Empire-style sofa has straight crest rail with scrolled ends and central tablet with carved fruit basket motif; shaped S-curve arms with carved rosettes on arm supports; straight skirt; monopodium feet with acanthus leaf brackets; upholstered back, arms and seat with nail trim; and upholstered bolsters. Handwritten on drawing is "W. A. Rogers."
