Description

Design drawing titled "Sofa" rendered in pencil and ink. Perspective view is shown. Rococo Revival or Louis XV-style sofa has serpentine crest rail and arm rails; C-scroll arm supports; upholstered seat, back and sides, serpentine curved skirt; two cabriole front legs terminating in C-scrolls atop peg feet; and two splayed rear legs. Carved ornamentation inludes scrolls and foliage on arms, arm supports, skirt and legs. Title and "129" are handwritten on drawing.
