Federal-style settee has two-chair form with serpentine shield backs; pierced splats with drapery design; curved arms flowing into curved arm supports. upholstered seat with single row of tacks along bottom edge; serpentine skirt with inlaid or carved central motif and rectangular blocks with inlaid stringing at corners; two tapered front legs with inlaid stringing terminating in spade feet; and two raked back legs. Handwritten on drawing is "13923."
