Federal-style settee has three-chair form with rectangular backs; shaped rectangularcrest rails with carved or inlaid ribbons and swags; open backs with splats formed by opposing half circles joined by a central carved rosettes; reeded stiles and open arms; turned arm supports above rectangular blocks; over-upholstered rectangular seat with one row of brass tacks along bottom edge; four reeded tapered round front legs with long ovoid feet; and two back legs. "Det. #2218" and "Note See Page 30 Book #6 for Chair to Match" are handwritten on drawing.
