Settle has tall arched back with carved border and carved scrolls at top; carved motif at center back with a fleur-de-lis atop a cartouche carved "1906" and flanked by scrolls and bellflowers; flat straight arms; plank sides with ten vasiform turnings below arms and arched opening at bottom; and seat with loose tufted cushion overhanging scrolled skirt. Title, dimensions and "Geo. Sykes" are handwritten on drawing.
