Tall settee has rectangular upholstered back; three square rear stiles extending to floor; curved open arms terminating in large scroll handholds; turned and foliate carved arm supports; rectangular upholstered seat; two rows of brass tack trim on seat and back; three square front legs with turned and foliate carved top; flat rear stretchers; shaped side stretchers; and serpentine front stretchers with carved borders and intertwined knot motif in central medallion. "1566" is handwritten on drawing.
