Description

Untitled design drawing of a sofa rendered in pencil on trace. Front and side views are shown. Sofa has tall three-lobed curved back; flared wings extending down to open arms; scrolled handholds and curved arms supports carved with acanthus leaves; rectangular seat; upholstered back, seat, wings and arms; curved skirt with carved foliage and scrolls; three short carved cabriole front legs terminating in scrolled toes; and raked rear legs. "Mrs. C. MacKay" is handwritten on drawing.
