Description

Untitled design drawing rendered in pencil on trace. Front elevation is shown. Drawing depicts an interior door frame, double doors and a portion of the adjacent chair rail. Door frame and chair rail have densely carved garlands and foliage. Each door has a top tier of two small vertical rectangular panels, a large vertical rectangular panel in the middle, and a lower tier of two vertical rectangular panels. Top and lower panels have Renaissance Revival carved motifs including central diamonds, rosettes and scrolls. Central panels each have a carved circular medallion enclosing a coat of arms surrounded by carved scrolls and medallions. Scale and "Irivng & Casson - A. H. Davenport Co. / 601 5th Ave NY. " are handwritten at bottom of drawing. Drawing has been affixed to a cardboard backing.
