Description

Design drawing titled "Sideboard of Walnut with Panels of Intarsia" rendered in watercolor and pencil. Front view is shown. Renaissance Revival-style sideboard has overhanging top with molded edge and dentil molding below; tri-partite case with three shallow drawers above three lower cabinets; round drawer pulls; four tapered half columns with acanthus leaves and other foliage carved in high relief; rounded bottom molding with carved foliage; and four large paw feet. Cabinet doors have large recessed square panels with intarsia scenes of foliage including pomegranates. Tapestry wall hanging is shown on wall behind sideboard. Title and dimensions are handwritten on drawing.
