Description

Design drawing titled "Sideboard of Mahogany & Inlay" rendered in watercolor and pencil. Pespective view is shown. Federal-style rectangular sideboard with ovolo corners; deep curved door at each side; two shallow central drawers above two recessed cabinet doors with locks; oval brasses with bail handles on end doors and center drawers; and six tapered legs with inlaid banded cuffs.. Drawers and doors have flame mahogany veneer and inlaid stringing around all edges; bottom edge of case has patterned inlay band. Title, dimensions, and "Model 2476" are handwritten in pencil. Handwritten in the lower left corner is: "Irving & Casson - A. H. Davenport Co. / Boston - New York."
