Design drawing titled "Adam Arm Chair of Mahogany with Painted Decoration" with two views. Front view is rendered in watercolor and pencil; side view is in pencil only. Fancy-style chair has turned crest rail with rectangular plaque below; horizontal splat composed of two slats separated by open diamond-shaped motifs; stiles with scrolled tops; shaped arms continuing to vasiform and ring turned arm supports; rectangular blocks below arm supports; upholstered slip seats; raked tapered square rear legs; and tapered round front legs with rings above and below which terminate in ovoid feet. Extensive painted decoration including garlands, bellflowers, baskets of fruit and foliage; scrolls, and imitation stringing. Title is handwritten on drawing.
