Design drawing titled "Sheraton Chairs of Satinwood with Painted Decoration" with three views. Front view of armchair is rendered in watercolor and pencil; side view of armchair and front view of side chair are in pencil only. Neoclassical or Sheraton-style armchair has crest rail formed by a carved scroll on each side of the top of a rectangular caned splat; rectangular tablet at base of splat with two horizontal slats separated by curule shape on each side; shaped arms; turned arm supports; narrow seat rails; loose seat cushion; tapered square rear legs that flare slightly at base; and tapered round front legs with ring and ball turnings. Painted decoration throughout includes flowers and garlands of foliage. Side chair has same design. Title, scale and firm name are handwritten on drawing.
