Untitled design drawing of a side chair with two views. Front view is rendered in watercolor and pencil; side view is in pencil only. Federal-style side chair has square curved back; crest rail with rectangular tablet between two trumpet-shaped elements; splat formed by four vertical rods and a central tall rectangular tablet and molded lower rail; molded stiles with volutes at top; upholstered square seat; molded seat rails and tapered front legs with cuffs; and raked tapered square rear legs. Painted decoration includes basket of flowers on splat; corners of seat rails; and front leg cuffs. Scale and "Irving & Casson - / A. H. Davenport Co. / 601 - 5th Ave NYC" are handwritten on drawing.
