Design drawing titled "3 Side Chairs in Blue Velvet" with two views. Front view of chair is rendered in watercolor and pencil; side chair is in pencil only. Federal-style side chair had square curved back; straight crest rail with carved ribbons, bow, and garland; curule-shaped splat with carved rosette at center; molded stiles with volutes at top and lower rail; upholstered seat; plain seat rails with carved rosettes at corners; raked tapered square rear legs; round tapered fluted front legs; and ovoid feet with cuffs. Title, scale and "150" are handwritten on drawing. Embossed at lower left corner is "Return to / A. H. Davenport Co. / 96 Washington St. / Boston, Mass."
