Design drawing of two chairs, settee and table. Perspective views are shown. Drawing of settee is rendered in watercolor and pencil; others are shown in pencil only. The Federal-style armchair, chair and settee each have a straight top rail; horizontal pierced splat with a solid central diamond; upholstered seat; and saber legs. The armchair and settee have gooseneck arms. Settee and chairs have painted or stenciled motifs on the top rail and horizontal splat; the settee also has painted motifs on the seat rail. On the settee, these motifs are gold on a painted black surface. The square table has straight legs and inlaid or painted stringing on the perimeter of the top. The drawing is affixed to cardboard. Blind stamped on the lower left corner of the cardboard: "Irving and Casson / A. H. Davenport Co. / Boston - New York."
