Design drawing with two views titled "Settee of Mahogany." Front view is rendered in pencil and watercolor; side view is in pencil only. Settee has three-chair back form; crest rails with carved garlands and bowknots; "curule" style back splats; reeded rails; reeded arms with curved ends terminating in turned bulb arm supports; four reeded tapered round front legs terminating in bulb feet; two raked rear legs; and upholstered seat with fringe on lower edge. Title, dimensions and "M2096" are handwritten in pencil. Blind stamped in lower left corner is: "Irving and Casson / A. H. Davenport Co. / Boston - New York."
