"Flower Box of Mahogany"

Description

Design drawing titled "Flower Box of Mahogany" with two views. Front view is rendered in watercolor and pencil; top view is in pencil only. Planter has rectangular open case with rounded edges; carved garlands and swags on corners; two metal interior liners fitted into case; four tapered fluted round legs with carved acanthus leaves at top; and turned cylindrical feet with cuffs. Title and design notes are handwritten on drawing. Embossed in lower left corner is: "Return to / A. H. Davenport Co. / 96 Washington St. / Boston, Mass."
