Design drawing with two views titled "Arm Chair of Oak." Front view is rendered in watercolor and pencil; side view is in pencil only. Arm chair has a rectangular upholstered back; thickly upholstered arms; deep upholstered seat; turned vasiform arm supports; legs with eight-sided turned blocks; and four shaped stretchers. Arm supports, legs and stretchers have motifs painted in red, green, gold and white. Crimson red upholstery has single row of metal tacks along seat and arm edges. Title and "14165" are hand printed on drawing. Embossed at the lower left corner: "Return to / A. H. Davenport Co. / 96 Washington St. / Boston, Mass." Printed on edge of mounting board is "270."
