Description

Design drawing titled "Two Single Beds of French Walnut and Gold" rendered in pencil on trace. Perspective view is shown. Two identical single beds are shown side by side. Each has tall headboard with concave corners at each end of straight crest rail; molded panel oN headboard; shorter footboard of same design; deep side rails; four round fluted posts with carved acorn finials atop square blocks with carved rosettes; carved acanthus leaves at base of posts followed by square blocks with carved rosettes; and four fluted cup turnings atop short tapered feet. Title, design notes, "7915" and "John D. Rockefeller Jr." are handwritten on drawing. Also handwritten is "Aug - 17 - 1906."
