Design drawing titled "Bed of Mahogany" rendered in pencil on trace. Front and side views are shown. Rococo Revival-style bed has tall arched headboard with scrolled ends; footboard with straight crest rail, scrolled sides, and curving shaped skirt; side rails with shaped top edge; and short scrolled feet. Carved ornamentation includes: central carved shell at top of headboard and footboard; carved shell on footboard skirt; and acanthus leaves and other foliage throughout. Title, design notes, "5653" and "11509" are handwritten on drawing. Also handwritten is "Made of Sabricue for Mr. Taylor."
