Description

Untitled design drawing rendered in ink on trace. Side view is shown. Empire-style bed has tall backboard and footboard; round columnar posts with round finials; wide side rail with concave curved top; S-curve brackets between skirt and base of posts. Carved, applied or painted ornamentation includes rosettes on finials; anthemions on tops of posts; and bellflowers and diamond motifs on side rail.
