Neoclassical-style tester bed has double-curved headboard and footboard with cut-out corners and scroll ears; posts with carved inverted cup above plain tapered columnar upper section, medial section with carved acanthus leaves and reeding; and reeded columnar lower section; carved inverted cup turning above short ovoid turned feet with cuffs terminating in casters; and tester frame attached to posts. Tester is shown with fabric valance and has flat top and molded cornice with dentil molding at bottom edge.
