Renaissance Revival-style chest has flat overhanging top with carved and molded edge; rectangular cabinet with protruding canted front corners; stepped base; two large paw feet; and two rear block feet. Chest has egg-and-dart molding on top and bottom edges; large rectangular recessed panel on front with two molded borders, carved central cartouche enclosing a rosette, carved acanthus leaves and strapwork motifs; and angled corner stiles carved with protruding animal head, foliage and scrolled base. Cabinet sides have recessed panels with large bail handles.
