Description

Design drawing titled "Sideboard. (Oak)" rendered in pencil and watercolor. Front and side views are shown. Mannerist Revival-style sideboard has an overhanging top with molded edge; one tier of three large drawers, each with two drop pulls; drawers and sides with painted or recessed panels with geometric motifs; eight vasiform turned legs; and box stretchers. Title, dimensions, and "E / A" are handwritten on drawing. Also handwritten is "Irving & Casson / A. H. Davenport Co. / 601 Fifth Avenue NYC."
